MANKATO, Minn. —
Police say a four-yr-previous boy by chance hanged himself whereas alone within the altering room of a Minnesota thrift retailer.
Authorities say the incident occurred Saturday afternoon at Once more Thrift & Extra in Mankato, operated by the Minnesota Valley Motion Council.
Family members have began a web-based fundraising effort to cowl funeral bills for the boy, recognized as Ryu Pena.
Police Cmdr. Daniel Schisel says the boy apparently acquired the hooded sweatshirt he was sporting caught on a hanger hooked up to a wall. Emergency responders took the boy to a hospital, the place he was declared lifeless.
Schisel tells the Minneapolis Star Tribune relations, who reside in close by St. James, have been within the retailer on the time. He calls the dying “a tragic accident” and says no expenses are being pursued.
